Our Story
A Church Being Born in Piedmont
Risen Savior Lutheran Church is a new congregation being planted in Piedmont, Oklahoma, under the care and oversight of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. We are gathering those who hunger for faithful, Word-centered worship and life together in Christ.
Our vision is simple: to proclaim the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the only hope for sinners, to administer His Sacraments faithfully, and to form a community shaped by the ancient faith once delivered to the saints.

Location
Pastors of the Oklahoma District of the LCMS have graciously offered to fill our pulpit until we are able to call a pastor. All are warmly welcome.
What We Teach
Our Confession of Faith
As a congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, Risen Savior holds the Holy Scriptures to be the inspired, inerrant Word of God — the only rule and norm of all doctrine and life. We confess the three Ecumenical Creeds and the Lutheran Confessions contained in the Book of Concord (1580) as a faithful exposition of Scripture.
Grace Alone
Salvation is entirely God’s gift — not earned by human merit, but freely given through Christ’s atoning work.
Faith Alone
We are justified before God through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose for our justification.
Scripture Alone
The Bible alone is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the source and norm of all Christian teaching.

Church planting requires prayer and provision. Gifts made through the Oklahoma District of the LCMS and designated for Risen Savior directly support the proclamation of the Gospel and the establishment of Word and Sacrament ministry in Piedmont.
